I am very excited to be participating in back-tack III this year. The rules: to make a soft toy using only black and white materials. Additionally I must include the first initial of the person I am creating for and include five buttons somewhere on the softie. We are allowed to use one additional colour provided it doesn't comprise more than 20% of the finished piece.
Match-ups are out and I will be creating a softie for Kisskus and I am having one created for me by Craft Itch. I've already exchanged emails with both lovely ladies which just adds to my keen-ness and excitement.
There are three preferred patterns that the organisers of back-tack would like us to use this year but I am leaning towards making an original. I'm looking forward to this weekend when I can escape from the kids for a few hours and cruise the local fabric shops for inspiration. At the moment I'm thinking pandas and penguins but I don't want to give too much away right now.
Pandas and penguins sound great ;)
I can't wait to see what you'll come up with!

What about a black and white lemur with boggledy eyes and big furry ears?!!
