For as long as I can remember the huge conifers over the road have had a secret mini forest of red and white fly agaric mushrooms growing underneath them. I shared this secret with Ella afew weeks ago and she has been captivated by them ever since. Well, truthfully, she is not so much captivated by them as she is consumed with a desire to stamp on them. I refuse to let her do this so we end up locking horns pretty much every time we go out the gate. It gets pretty exhausting after a while.
Anyway, the other day I decided to practice my crochet skills in preparation for some serious amigurumi action and my gradual increases and sharp decreases created this lovely little mushroom that I am really very taken with. Ella doesn't feel the urge to destroy this one but the question remains... what does one actually do with a tiny weeny little crocheted mushroom? I suspect I may have to create a suitably tiny weeny crocheted creature to live underneath it.
What to do with a crocheted mushroom?
You could sell it!
To me!
& then make more!
Adorable. Seriously.
I'm in love with it.
I wish this post wasn't from 2006.
